Experience Summary
I have been through a series of career paths and throughout the past few years have realized that I have a great passion for teaching. I have earned a bachelors degree in Health Science from Benedictine University and would say that it was a very well-rounded curriculum and more over, I have gained the experience of being a leader and a teacher through my experiences there. I excelled in the areas of both science and math and therefore was selected to be an instructional assistant for both chemistry and my statistics class. For the past few years I have been able to keep up my skills by tutoring privately in the areas of both math and science but would like to reach out furthermore and extend that help to all youth around the area.
Teaching Style
Words cannot express my love and passion for teaching, I would say it is a profession that requires a great deal of patience and understanding but the payoff from its efforts is definitely worth it to me. Being student oriented, nurturing and supporting the growth of my students is fulfilling to me. I thrive on being a part of the development of their personal and social awareness. My compassion for others makes it a joy for me to work with students. My teaching is at its best when I am creating a rapport with students. I feel good when magic springs from the learning experiences and growth of my students.
