Experience Summary
As a lover of learning and education, and also all things international, I have always been interested in helping others learn. My BA education in marketing and communication has afforded me the chance to explore many aspects of business, and to teach adults at the university level various aspects of Marketing and Business. While furthering my education in international studies with an MA, I gained a broader view of what help is needed across our borders. I have been blessed to tutor both adult and younger students to help them in the areas of GED and test preparation, receiving their high-school diplomas, and in math, reading, and writing for younger students.
Teaching Style
I am convinced that each and every person can learn when given the proper tools, opportunity and the support to take them to the next level. The key is learning what motivates, excites and propels each person to the next level and what the possibilities are for their potential. I cherish working with students either one-on-one or in small groups, so their progress can be monitored. I teach using creative methods and believe that learning can and should be fun. I also know that the best teachers and tutors are those who are passionate about their subject matter and about bringing students to their full potential. This is where the true results are experienced.
