Experience Summary
With a teaching experience of more than seven years, a PHD in Applied Mathematics with Emphasis in Physics , a Master of Science in Physics (Minor: Computer Science, Teaching and Administration),Master of Arts in Educational Administration (in view), I have taught traditional/general physics courses to both physics and non – physics undergraduate majors, A- level physics to high school students, college – level mathematics\ further mathematics to both college and high school students, Medical Physics to radiology\radiotherapy and nursing students; calculus,
chemistry and Human Anatomy/Physiology to pre-medical students.
Administratively, I have risen to the position of the head of physics department (Community College) and the head of the Science department (High School).
Teaching Style
I am currently a Physics Faculty at Wichita State University. Before that I had been working as a Graduate teaching assistant in the department of Physics, New Mexico State University, where I taught integrated Lab physics courses to both physics and non – physics majors. This position enabled me to provide these students with a “head start” in mastering conceptual skills in general physics courses. My Labs were integrated rather than traditional. I used a variety of techniques such as computer simulations, PowerPoint
presentation, group discussions, videos presentations, online tools and a variety of homework schemes to beautifully unveil the various concepts in Physics.
