Teaching Style
My success as a teacher has come from my belief that young people have a better chance at succeeding when they are empowered with tools and support for their own capacity to learn and grow, rather than simply fed information. Certain qualities are needed in a tutor or teacher to make that possible: compassion, confidence and an ability to create a safe container, one that is nurturing and void of impatience and frustration. These qualities make up the foundation of my teaching style, along with a high-level of work quality and extensive experience teaching children and young people of many different backgrounds and abilities.
