Experience Summary
As a college graduate and the first of my family to attend college, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BA in History and BA in Music which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of liberal arts. I recently earned a Masters degree in Library Science which has enabled me to gain an understanding and practical experience in serving patrons, clients, students and the general public. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical and spelling skills due to writing research papers and reports, along with essays in many various areas of study. During the last sixteen years I have tutored students in English, mathematics, and music (piano).
Teaching Style
I have a passion for lifelong learning and education, and working with children and young adults. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success and realize his/her potential. I am patient, friendly, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. A few good educators can make a world of difference in a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
