Experience Summary
I’ve always been a very driven, committed, and passionate student to excel in education. At the University of California, Davis I have earned two bachelor degrees, BA in International Relations and BA in Spanish, with a minor in Chicana/o Studies which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of social studies, cultural anthropology, and language. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers, along with essays in many various areas of study. During the last 2 years I have tutored students in English, the arts, Spanish, elementary math, and world cultures.
Teaching Style
I care about students and I love helping them develop skills that will benefit them in the future. I believe in recognizing that each child is an individual and that each child learns at his/her own pace. I am extremely patient, easy going, considerate, flexible, punctual, and organized. My role as an educator is very important, and I take it very seriously, because I want your child to succeed academically. I believe in creating a learning environment of respectful dialogue between the student, parents, and myself. I feel it is important for you to know that I also have experience working with exceptional children and I feel very comfortable doing so. My goal will always be secure that your child receives the best education possible.
