Experience Summary
With a degree in Psychology and work in marketing research and career development, I became a private tutor. For over 15 years, I have taught mathematics, language arts, and test preparation to help students improve skills, raise grades and perform better on tests. Some have joined the IB Program and graduated from it. My SAT and ACT students have been accepted to their chosen colleges. I have a 100% pass rate with the GED.
Teaching Style
Learning helps prepare us for careers and expands our minds and souls. Through in-person private sessions, I give students the individualized help they need to reach their learning goals. We become teammates, facing problems, devising strategies and celebrating achievements together.
My Hobbies
Public speaking and performing arts.

I can also tutor history, basic Spanish and French, and public speaking, which I learned as a member of Toastmasters International. In addition, I have personal training and experience dealing with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
