My teaching style with students of all ages is to facilitate their learning as opposed to simply feeding them what I feel is the best response. Students learning is maximized when they can take ownership of and pride in their work. I am very patient. Recognizing that all students learn differently, I seek to ascertain their learning styles and then adjust my tutoring style to that learning style. I taught and tutored ESL two years before entering law school. I hae taught college classes as an adjunct and later FT professor at Penn College for 25 years. I currently serve as Career Outreach Coordinator for HACC-Lebanon Campus. I have tutored many students, particularly in areas such as writing essays. I am an R.N. I have an RN and a Masters degree in Nursing with a 4.0 GPA in that degree. I also have a certification in Legal-Nurse Consulting and I am obtaining a certification in Forensic Nursing. Becuase I am a Legal-Nurse Consultant, I basically write for a living for law firms. Therefore, I am also quite subjects such as paralegal studies.
