My teaching style is tailored to the student. If I see an opportunity to improve the student's learning by using a different style, I will take it. Most of my experience comes from substitute teaching. I have been a certified local substitute teacher since September of 2010. I have taught everything from math and science to physical education and music while working as a local substitute teacher. I was able to provide additional service by mentoring individuals who were struggling with material in lessons and assignments. The trumpet is a member of the brass instrument family. It has 3 valves and is a transposing instrument. Most trumpets are in the key of B flat which means a C played on the trumpet sounds like a D played on the piano. It reads treble clef and has an instrument range from F sharp below middle C to C two octaves above middle C. Skilled trumpet players can play even higher notes.
