For the last six years of my academic career, I have been driven to achieve a high level of excellence. I have completed a bachelors' and a Masters' in Mechanical Engineering. Math and Science have been very important in achievements of my academic goals. Having worked for various industries both within and outside Georgia Tech have helped me demonstrate and improve my communication skills. I have also tutored incoming freshman from Georgia Tech in Math, Physics and Chemistry with great success. I enjoy teaching children and building confidence in their abilities. I believe that the best teacher is one who helps a child learn how to learn. This will build confidence in the child's ability to learn different subjects and enable a passion for learning. Five years engineering experience in Flight Test, Aircraft Stability and Flight Controls, and Aircraft Structures. I use positive motivation with my students, explaining how subject matter being covered should relate to them and their future successes. I try to link the subjects with current events and how lack of knowledge on specific subjects can cost them either financially or impact their health and well being. For example, when I encounter a senior who is not participating in class, I give them an employment application to fill out, explaining if they have difficulty completing it, they better join the class.
