I am currently a professional journalist, but spent almost 10 years in three different California school districts. I write for two different newspapers in San Diego, as well as a local television station. I am well-versed in grammar, punctuation, spelling and all other aspects of creative writing. I am what you might call a camp kid. I grew up spending summers in the mountains, camping and hiking and when I grew older, working.
