I just graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Biochemistry (Medicinal Chemistry) and received a minor in Biology. I have logged over 100 credit hours in ASU’s science departments while meeting the Dean’s List requirements. The teaching style I have is really a mix of all styles. I was exposed to teaching classes as an undergraduate student. One class really taught me the importance of building a teaching style with all of the learning styles involved. Whether it is visual, kinesthetic, audio, or reading, a good teacher will take the time to incorporate all of these into their style. I think this is so important especially when working with children because a child is at a very impressionable age with great imagination. The key to successful tutoring is to link the "trouble course" to feelings of enjoyment. The path to linking the course depends on student personality and interests.
