I have a degree in english and a masters in communication arts. I do not have education courses for teaching but I would like to help students with speaking and reading english. I wish we still had phonics in the schools. I think it is important and we need it. And although my handwriting is not the best, I wish we still had penmanship offered in the schools. Instead, the students are text messaging so they do not think they need penmanship.
