I love teaching and working with all children. I am a firm believer that all children learn differently and, as an educator it is my job to adapt to your child's style of learning. I have worked with children of all different ages and backgrounds; and found that they key to working across the demographic is patience, compassion and a willingness to learn. As a gradute of the College of Creative Arts at West Virginia University, I was given the opportunity to learn and experience all aspects of the music education program. I earned my bachelor degree in Music Education and taught private lessons for a part time job to help put myself through school. I had an amazing biology teacher in high school who was upbeat, interactive and made learning, memorable and fun. I try to take this same approach myself to figure out what is important to students and play on their interests and strengths to help them learn. I have been teaching 3rd grade Sunday School for two years. I have been assisting my children in an educational capacity for over 7 years.
