I got my BS, MS and Ph.D degrees in Physics. I had been a professor at a university in China for five years, a teaching assistant/tutor at Brigham Young University for five years and an adjunct professor at Utah Valley University for one semester. I can teach/tutor fundamental physics and math courses. First of all, I like teaching physics and math. Many students complained that physics was too hard for them to learn. I think the main problem is that they learned it too fast and couldn’t understand the basic concepts. They need some more time and patience to figure out the basic mechanisms and develop the necessary skills and abilities to solve the concrete problems. These skills/abilities are so critical if they want to pursue a career in the areas of engineering and science in their future lives. I have taught for a single year at West Wendover HS in West Wendover, NV. During that year, I taught basic applied math classes as well as Algebra I, Algebra II and Pre-Calculus classes.
