I like to be interactive- when I'm teaching I prefer to work through a problem with a student together the first time, letting the student more or less watch me. The second time through, we approach the problem with a little more weight placed on the student. The third time I ask the student to attempt the problem on his/her own, and I'm available for questions. Her ADHD can inhibit the learning process, but we are able to work through the problems. Learning about weighted blankets helped me work with her.
