I am a poet, novelist, essayist and short story writer. I have also published my own literary magazine for many years. I am the former head of the Creative Writing Program at Jefferson College in Missouri. I enjoy working with young writers and drawing their best work from them. I have also taken coursework in memoir writing and often work with seniors on their life stories. I have been a college and university professor of English for over three decades.
