As a graduate of university level education from the English field, I have written a great deal and have been extensively exposed to the writing process. A great deal of my education was focused on Education/Teaching in the event I decided to apply my degree in such a manner. I have some experience with students in the formal classroom environment as well as the one-on-one setting. I vary it the best I can to accommodate the student, though I believe that the most important factor is that the student be guided through the process and never just given the answer or denied explanation.

I prefer to relate things to the real world. For instance, when teaching anything dealing with Greek Mythology, I like to pick out something from the myth that is relevant to today (like from "The Iliad," the character Ajax is known as being stronger than Greece, and the soap brand Ajax has the slogan of being "stronger than grease"). I have loved English since I was in middle school.
