As of 2019, he has been teaching English Language Arts in the classroom at the secondary level for four years, serving nearly all grade levels ranging from 6th-12th with a specialization in English STAAR support and intervention. He holds a Standard Texas Teaching Certificate for English Language Arts, Grades 6-12. Before teaching, Josh served as a professional English and writing tutor at Lone Star College in Northwest Houston, where he worked for the campus writing lab and serving as a tutor and advocate for ESL students.
Josh's teaching philosophy is ultimately focused on simplicity, clarity, differentiation, and real-world application, providing the needed support to take any student to the next level in their academic skills.
