Experience Summary
Let's be honest: Learning a new subject can be tough.
Professors and teachers are usually rushing to get through so much information, you might feel lost or exhausted just trying to keep up.
It's impossible to learn if you are:
- Have no idea what your professor/teacher is talking about
- Getting anxious just thinking about this class or test
- Dreading studying
- Putting off studying to the last minute
- Searching the internet for your homework answers
- Watching Youtube videos to learn the subject you are supposed to be learning in class
And to make matters worse, the more you read the book, PowerPoint, or your notes, the less you understand the material.
That's where I come in.
I've spent the last 10 years teaching over 400 students everything from basic arithmetic all the way to CFA. They have all succeeded not because they learned how to memorize a formula or because they can recite something from there book - but because they learned how to learn.
Learning is an art - not a science. Anyone can memorize a formula, but very few people understand how to learn new topics quickly and easily.
Once you learn how to learn - you can break down any subject you like quickly, easily, and with ½ the effort it would normally take you.
In addition, I will show you how to:
- Learning according to your own individual style
- Breaking down hard concepts into simple steps
- Creating notes and methods that you can use now and, in the future,
- Translate complicated concepts in everyday English
I help my students with:
- Series 7
- CFA Level 1
- Accounting (100 -400 levels)
- Finance (100-400 levels)
A little about me......
I have personally always excelled in Math. In high school, I cruised through Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Pre-Calc, earning an "A" in each subject. In college, my math skills only became more refined, I earned an "A+" in Calculus my freshmen year. From there, I went on to earn my degree in Finance with honors.
After college, I earned my Series 7, Series 3, Series 63, Series 65, Life Insurance License, Health Insurance License, and became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). The CFP® is a premier certification that requires 18 months of intensive course work culminated with a 10 hour, 2 day exam testing Insurance Planning, Tax Planning, Estate Planning, Investment Planning, and Retirement Planning.
I left my job at a prominent Wall Street firm in 2011 to run my several startups. I currently run a Nutrition Coaching start-up.
