Experience Summary
I am a native Russian speaker with more than 15 years of the subject studies and 5+ years of private tutoring. Having started to help my peers with Russian in High School, I graduated with the economics degree and have learned a lot about how to build classes, what method to choose etc, but I prefer to teach more practical and useful things, and I've always been fascinated by linguistics.
Teaching Style
After I moved to the United States in 2015 I decided to pursue my Master’s degree in accounting, alongside teaching Russian to people around me. I take pride in all of my students who have achieved remarkable results for a short time.

I believe that each student is different, so I always do my best to adapt my lessons to your needs and your learning style. However, I don’t think it’s possible to teach “only grammar” or “only conversation”. I offer my students a lot of conversation practice, but also grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading exercises. I also enjoy sharing a whole lot of Russian traditions and specialties of the culture. Nelson Mandela put it best, but I feel EXCACTLY the same about the language learning process:
“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.”
