Experience Summary
Welcome future nurses. I love teaching - especially new nurses. I've been doing it for 30+ years and can't give it up. I relish seeing students accomplish their goals and contribute to their society. Having sent more than 1000 students to State Boards, 95% have successfully passed on the first attempt. Students who have studied with me for a 2nd attempt or geater have a 98% success rate. Students coming to me to enhance their course grades and who follow my academic plan report a letter grade or more jump in their coarse grades.
Teaching Style
I use Socratic teaching methods to help students learn how to learn. I believe education should be fun and rewarding. So, I make the experience memorable by providing memory hints, simple explanations for complex concepts, and plenty of outside resouces.
My Hobbies
Teaching! I enjoy training dogs for therapy, tricks, and nose work. My mutt, Scarlett, is my pride and joy.
