To whom it may concern,
I wish to apply for the position working in an environment where I can use my talents to help a growing company. I have worked as an AmeriCorps Volunteer; I have also worked with children who have been on probation. I am very interested in helping adults and children become successful in and out of the classroom. I hope you will consider me for a position. I am looking for full time. I also worked another job as an employment consultant, and I do know how to do intakes and score assessments. What makes me a great tutor is that I try to focus on the idea everyone can learn, and is able to adapt learning strategies eventually on their own to be a great student and succeed.
I have worked as an employment consultant; helping people with disabilities find jobs. The agency I am working with is closed up in the area. I am looking for another position with all the training I have had through IU and the various workshops.
I have been a special education teacher and aide for many years. I have substitute in many different areas of education. I also work as an employment consultant for people with disabilities wanting to work. I am just looking for something else flexible to do around my other jobs. I have also been an AmeriCorps worker and a tutor on my campus when I attended IUN. I also worked as a tutor in the Splash program at Lew Wallace high school when they had the Splash program. I have tutored as an ESL tutor and GED Teacher. I have had experience working in charter schools and public schools. So I hope you will please consider me.
I have also have worked as a computer consultant while attending college. I am familiar with apps on android phone, and I am also familiar with the play store and different apps. I own an android cell phone and a laptop. I have high speed internet also. I also have done customer service work virtually through creditrepair.com as a customer service agent.
I have a bachelor’s degree in education, with a minor in special education. I also have worked on some graduate courses work Master’s degree in psychology. I am still in school, and I am looking for something to work around my school schedule. I hope you will consider me for a position. I live in Northwest Indiana.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is using hands-on experiences, verbal instruction, and visuals. I try to make learning fun.
My Hobbies
My hobbies are spending time with family, and friends. I also like to read mysteries. I write children's stories and poetry. I have one poem published in a book.
Other Comments
I have also had experience working as a GED teacher at the Hobart Library when they had the GED program there for one year. All of my students passed the GED test.
I have also been an I-Step grader for the I-Step test.
