Experience Summary
My extensive background in the field of education has prepared me to be a highly qualified candidate for TutorSelect. My background includes, but is not limited to, 20+ years experience in education. Overall, my career in education has involved several positions that have provided me with a broad scope of experience. Some additional positions I have held are Content Specialist for TREND enterprises, Inc.- a major educational publisher for supplemental education materials; Center Director for Huntington Learning Center; Director of an Extended Day Program; Title One teacher; Reading Recovery teacher; and a homeroom classroom teacher teaching all the major subject areas to students in several grades ranging from one to six. In addition, I have worked in both public and parochial schools and supplemental learning centers. I have received a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University, MN in June of 2003. Also, a Bachelor of Science from the College of Education at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN was obtained in June of 1996. I currently hold an active MN teaching license in grades Pre-K through sixth grade. I possess a strong ability to interact and present to adult learners/teachers at all ability levels.

I vary my teaching style according to the learner's best method for learning. I typically assess their style learning over the course of several sessions.
My Hobbies
My 2-year old son takes up all my free time and we love going to the park.
