Experience Summary
John Austin Geyer is the consummate dreamer. Diving into challenges and opportunities is his passion and forté.
During his time as a United States National Diving Team member, John learned that the beauty of individual achievement is only reached via positive thinking, goal-driven structure and consistent training — all while maintaining the respect, composure and teamwork skills required of someone that is representing his country internationally
After retiring from his athletic role, John switched his focus to aesthetics, his other life-long passion, with his new career as an interior designer. In an effort to develop detail-oriented, formative designs, John brings the aforementioned skillset to his work.
After seeking his Associates of Arts degree in Interior Design, at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, John became lingual in drafting by hand and through AutoCAD, as well as 2D and 3D rendering, both by hand and through Sketchup, Vray, 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
John was a Senior Designer/Project Manager at Kari Whitman Interiors, in West Hollywood, where he showcased his talents in technical drafting, space-planning, material selection, furniture selection, project management and client-relations.
Now launching JAG Design, John is ready to make a splash, and aspires to display his creativity and enthusiasm for design in a broader spectrum.
