About Me

Experience Summary

I have a master's degree in special education and began private reading instruction over 10 years ago. I have extensive training in many of the structured language aprroaches such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Lindamood-Bell and Tattum Reading. I regularly attend workshops and conferences in order to stay current on the latest research in the field. I am truly passionate about teaching reading to all ages.

Teaching Style

I use a multisensory approach to teaching. Research has proven this approach to be the most effective and it is also fast-paced and fun.

My Hobbies

I love to read, hike, bike and spend time with my family and friends.
