I was the Founding Tutor for Accounting and Finance at my last university where I was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for outstanding service to students evidenced by a distinct improvement in their grades.
Key courses that I tutored include: financial accounting, managerial (cost) accounting, managerial finance and intermediate accounting.
Specific concepts that I specialized in tutoring include, but not limited to: (1)applying the rules of debits and credits, (2)the entire accounting cycle, (3)ratio analysis, (4) forecasting financials and setting up pro-forma statements, (5)time value of money, (6)capital budgeting - NPV, IRR Payback period, (7)CAPM and WACC concepts.
