Experience Summary
I retired from the Navy in 2005. I was a First Class Petty Officer/Cardiopulmonary Technician for 14 of those years. I have been an EMT/Paramedic, LVN, and a Certified Respiratory Therapist as well and have experience working in many areas of a clinic/hospital setting. I have years of experience teaching students ACLS/BLS from basics to Instructors. I also have experience teaching procedures to new Hospital Corpsmen, Nurses and Technicians. I have been tutoring online and in person for the last two years. My teaching style, professionalism and care for the success of my students has been praised. I teach NBRC Registry Prep for Respiratory Therapists, CVT Exam Prep, HESI preparation, RN and LVN NCLEX exam preparation as well.I have also successfully tutored students for their GED and ACT exams.
Teaching Style
I usually allow the student to lead me at first until I am sure what their learning style is and then I work with the student to best meet their study and learning needs.
My Hobbies
I like to do needlework, write short stories and poetry and Blog. I have been in involved in a few online RPG writing groups and have enjoyed that. I like to draw and be crafty. I play Skyrim and Guild Wars 2 when I get the chance.

| I was a Cardiovascular Technician in the Navy for twenty years. I was registry eligible. The only reason I did not continue in the field was due to an injury to my hand. I am very familiar with ultrasound physics and have helped other students with studying for their exams and the registry. |
