I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If I am not given 24 hours notice for the cancellation of a session you will be charged at that session's rate. Also, when I travel to a student's location, I charge $30/hr plus $0.50 for every mile traveled over 15 miles round trip.

About Me

Experience Summary

I have been in the position of helping people learn for 14 years now. One of the most important teaching roles is that of being a parent. Everyday I am learning new ways to help advance learning and make learning fun for a two year old, six year old and a 14 year old with special needs. Besides the real life experience of parenting, I have also tutored students ranging grades second through college. I taught a college level course as a college student. I have instructed and mentored college-age students getting tested for HIV and STIs. I have taken courses in both learning theory and teaching theory so that I have knowledge about how to find a person's learning style and helping them use their strengths to learn any material. I received a 5 star rating as a tutor for Wyzant.
