Experience Summary
I have over 25 years' experience as an instructor and curriculum developer. I have focused on the educational design and exemplary delivery of instructional strategies to non-native language learners at the elementary, secondary, graduate, and post-graduate level. My work has included specialization in the following content areas: Elementary Ed, Adult and Family Literacy; Test Pre; Academic and pre-college; Civic and Community; Vocational Transitions; Survival and Refugee Services. Learners ranged in age from 5 to 95; representing 89 different countries. I have a passion for learning and achievement. My mission is to provide knowledge, skills, values, and enable students to compete successfully in the workforce, to be self-sufficient citizens, and life-long learners.
