Experience Summary
From that unique moment where a person finds the source of inspiration for his or her future, I too, found my career pathway from humble beginnings and a natural desire to guide others through a love for learning. As a teenager, I made the decision, and ultimately, lifelong investment, to become a teacher with the goal of positively impacting diverse learners. After graduating from Gilbert High School (AZ) with honors, I limited my university offers to Arizona State University, with the ambition of teaching students from my home state. After earning my bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development, my dedication towards becoming a teacher intensified, and I immediately attained a master's degree in Elementary Education, through the Osborn School District's "iTeach" teaching pathway, which was a rigorously demanding program that assisted me in becoming the educator I am, today.
Teaching Style
My teaching style comes from a simple necessity to be a social and academic advocate for all students who are in my classes, as well as the many that I have tutored previously. To be more specific, my methodology of teaching is derived with the sense that teachers, who are highly effective, in terms of their students' academic scores, are EQUALLY captivating through their gifts of making learning, well, fun! In my classroom, I teach from the belief that not one child is the same, which allows me to create learning environments where each student shows and feels success. My students would probably describe my teaching style as energetic, humorous and challenging. I am proud of the honest relationships that I have with parents and students. As a cohesive team of a family, student and teacher, we can deepen the support a student receives from his or her family, and at the same time, a teacher may further encourage, challenge, and motivate a child from the amazing feeling of learning something new. This is a teaching style that I hope to share with your family sometime in the near future.
My Hobbies
In all honesty, a great deal of my spare time is spent preparing engaging lessons for my students, even on the weekends. However, when I am neither tutoring nor teaching, I enjoy going out to eat with my family, working out at the gym and learning how to become a photographer. I have always enjoyed learning a new skill, so this is probably why my hobbies closely align to my career in teaching.
Other Comments
If you are looking for a qualified tutor, or teacher, please consider me as an option. My love for fostering learning is not just a career to me. It is a lifestyle. I truly believe that providing a young mind with an appreciation for acquiring new information is one of life's greatest gifts. I hope to keep paying it forward throughout my life as a teacher, and just as equally, a lifelong learner.
