Experience Summary
I have over 40 hours of tutoring experience with local high schoolers and I work at Kumon. I tutor as a hobby because I have a passion for teaching others. Every person has the capacity to hold knowledge. The tutor is the person who facilitates the learning. My personal statistics involve a 3.99 unweighted GPA, a 2310 on the SAT, and a 35 on the ACT.
Teaching Style
I believe that the best way to learn is by doing. My teaching involves a large amount of practice. When a student makes a mistake, I try to explain the concept, rather than the superficial.
