Experience Summary
I was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, the math national honors society at Milton High school, through which I tutored numerous students throughout my high school career. I am currently a Mathematics major at the University of Georgia, where I am in the Honors college and am also minoring in Political Science and Studio Art. I've worked with students ranging from kindergarten age to seniors in high school, and greatly enjoy it.
Teaching Style
I prefer a one-on-one basis of teaching, with a good amount of independence for the students. I find that regular check-ins with a seemingly-casual air can be more productive and successful than an overbearing atmosphere.
My Hobbies
As I am a Studio Art minor, I enjoy drawing and creating art in other traditional media in my spare time, as well with practicing my creative writing abilities. I also volunteer at my local church, where I run a small group for first-graders.
