Experience Summary
I am currently a second year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Florida. I graduated from my high school, Singapore American School, with a GPA of 4.08. I have always been a straight A student and am proficient in every subject, especially the maths and sciences. I also have been taking Mandarin Chinese for 8 years now and am currently working on getting my minor in Chinese at the University of Florida. I have experience with tutoring students in Chinese, dance and music. I also have a younger brother whom I often help tutor with math and science.
Teaching Style
Since I am a straight A student, it is apparent that my way of studying is effective in learning the material and obtaining good grades. I have many methods of studying that allow me to not only understand the information, but also retain it. I believe that teaching students with my tips and tricks will also prove to help them.
My Hobbies
I like being active and doing thinks like hiking, bike riding, walking the dog, etc. I also love music! I can play the saxophone and I am currently teaching myself how to play piano.
Other Comments
I am staying the the Tarpon Springs/Palm Harbor area over the summer (from May-August) and I am pretty much available to tutor at whatever times are most convenient for the student. I do own a car but I would prefer that I wouldn't have to drive more than 20-25 minutes.
