Experience Summary
I have experience in multiple fields. I homeschooled my four children in various subjects in elementary , secondary, high school and college. Some of them attended high school part-time. At their high school I tutored other children I also helped our exchange student from Poland when he attended high school.
All of my children had learning disabilities. I am well-versed in ADD and ADHD.
My youngest child is a freshman so I would like to do more to tutoring. My schedule is flexible.
I've always loved school, especially math. I relax by doing logic puzzles and math problems. My children and husband tell me that I should have been a teacher.
Teaching Style
I like interactive learning. I like to use all styles from auditory to kinesthetic. I incorporate games into learning to make it more fun.
My Hobbies
I'm a runner. I also take ballet. I'm an avid reader, who enjoys biographies, WW II survivor stories, and tales about The Amish.
