Experience Summary
I have experience working in math and science as I do for work in a healthcare lab position. In all my schooling through college I tutored and studied in peer organizations, whether a French club in high school, biology society in college, or discussion of the material at hand. I have had some recent successful experiences tutoring in the community where I grew up (Hudson and Bergen County, NJ). Then my work in the spring with Reading Partners meant refocusing and awakening an eight year old student to her potential and how much she could enjoy reading. If you need a subject taught, if you know you're missing some basics along the line and need to fill in a few gaps, or you're ready to build yourself some more in chosen subjects, I make a fantastic guide.
Teaching Style
My style is to give you time to work both in front of me and alongside me so I can assess what makes you a strong learner, meaning what best helps you remember a learning experience, and then we can use those skills wherever you have room for improvement.
My Hobbies
One big passion of mine is gardening, though this year I am renting in a place where my landlord manages the garden- so I have more time for hiking, biking, running, some personal reading, and cooking! I would love to share recipes with you or if you prefer it to a library, we can meet at your favorite coffee shop for our study session.

Come with all of your needs, including subjects not listed. It's rare I don't have experience that would allow me to point you on the right path- I took enough history courses for a minor in it during college, I can help you with writing geared towards current events as I love finding sources from the news... And truly I can work with any age group. I love meeting people of all walks of life and can help bring you tons of new ideas.
