Experience Summary
I have spent my whole adult life working in the field of accounting and finance. I am a life long learner and believe in the power of education. I have been a CEO and COO of a publicly traded bank and am now employed as a VP of Project Management which gives me the flexibility to pursue teaching and tutoring. I am a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. I also teach accounting online for Rasmussen College.
Teaching Style
In accounting, finance and economics I believe using real life examples is a better way to get a student to understand principles. However, I do recognize that all students do have different learning styles and it is my job to adapt my methods to the manner in which a student learns best.
My Hobbies
I love sports and am a avid runner and golfer.
Other Comments
I tutor because I enjoy helping people to learn. Certain subjects do not always come easy to a student but seeing the concepts grasped and witnessing that "AHA" moment is a great feeling.
