Experience Summary
Some experience tutoring 300 level mechanical engineering courses at an ABET accredited state school. I hold a Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have a strong understanding of material failure and behavior, solid mechanics, composite materials, finite element analysis, and heat transfer. I also minored in mathematics, and am able to tutor in trig, algebra, calculus, linear algebra and higher level vector and differential calculus.
Teaching Style
I think example problems really help when a student is struggling, at least they did for me. I break down the problems into smaller, more conquerable, problems.
