I inspire the students by showing them how much more capable they are than they thought. Once that's accomplished, their motivation takes off.

Historic preservation, auto restoration, writing, public speaking, writing my book on Education.
Other Comments
I make it fun and inspirational. Students like my teaching within the first 5 minutes. My teaching always works; reason being, I teach because it's fun for me. So much better than dealing with officeplace politics and "insidious personnel warfare." My home is standing in the front of the classroom.
