Experience Summary
I have 15 years of experience using and teaching AutoCAD. I am an architectural designer by training and my resume includes 2D and 3D drafting, BIM modeling, rendering and development of construction documents. My resume includes renovations and additions to K-12 schools, universities and multiple municipal and industrial projects. I have been the CAD coordinator for multiple projects and have provided mentorship for more than five year to interns and young architects that are learning to use the program.
Teaching Style
AutoCAD is more than a drafting program for me; it is the tool I use to create objects that will become reality. I like to teach my students not only how to use the program, but to help them understand how every line on the screen relates to the whole project whether it is a machined part, window system or four story office building. I keep the lessons fun and pace them to the students level of comfort and understanding. I am a patient instructor willing to try many paths to help a student understand concepts and to succeed.
