Experience Summary
Learning should be fun. It doesn't matter how old you are, there is always something to learn. My top subjects are Spanish, Language Arts, Computer Basics and Microsoft Office Programs. I enjoy creating PowerPoint presentations and am knowledgeable with working on Microsoft Publisher, Access, Word and Excel. I have tutored students in most subjects. I have previous experience working with Elementary Grades K-8 with 2 years in FortBend ISD, Houston, Texas and Lamar ISD, Richmond, Texas. I currently provide Academic Support including one on one tutoring for students in college; I have 2 years in a University/College environment.
I am currently working on acquiring my Teacher's certification.
Teaching Style
My teaching style depends on the student or individual that I am tutoring. Children learn in different ways. Some are auditory learners, tactile or visual learners. I try to engage and motivate the student to participate and learn. Sometimes it takes a little more patience but it is worth it at the end.
