Experience Summary

Financial Accounting may be boring, difficult, challenging... you name it. In my opinion, Financial Accounting is a subject that can be taught in an easy-to-understand way that most college professors have not yet figured out. I'm here to help you to not only get a passing grade, but also to help you understand Financial Accounting and its important role in the business world. While pursuing my bachelor’s degree, I worked for the University of Central Florida as an accounting tutor. In terms of work experience, I have worked for two of the Big 4 accounting firms as an auditor ,and I'm a CPA licensed in the State of Colorado; however, I live in Orlando, FL and work as a financial analyst for an engineering firm. I'm bilingual, English and Spanish, and feel comfortable teaching the subject matter in any of the two languages. My areas of expertise include Financial Accounting, certain Finance topics and Microsoft Excel.

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I have been helping students with their Financial and Managerial Accounting, and Finance courses since 2011. My goal is to help you learn and understand the topics we cover. By doing this, you'll be better prepared to do well on your exams and build strong foundations that will carry over your professional career.

Finance is what I do on a daily basis at work. I'm a financial planning analyst working for a private company in the Orlando area. I have a lot of experience teaching topics; such as, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Financial Statement Ratio Analysis, Present and Future value of 1 and Annuities, Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC), among others.
