Experience Summary
I have 25+ years of education experience from Head Start, Pre K -12th grade. I have taught many academic subjects and students with all the learning styles and with various behavior patterns. I have a great desire and passion to work with autistic and those of exceptional needs. I am highly trained in understanding some of their moods and actions. For 5 years I worked in 2 residential homes associated with Mental Health and Retardation clients, teaching them in the area of Life Skills and how to do challenging day to day simple survival skills. My experiences also includes teaching ESL and GED at the local community college and at the university level I taught Testing Strategies to students who were struggling to pass their ACT and SAT Test. As an Independent Contractor English Instructor, my experiences in Business and Corporate English includes Fortune 500 oil,gas and engineering industries.
