Seasoned professional with 15 years of relevant experience in strategy management and IT consulting supporting clients and managing multi-disciplinary teams in both the commercial and Federal government markets. I have led efforts for both the financial services sector and for several government agencies, focused on IT software development, change/transformation, program management, and organizational assessment.
As an undergraduate, I spent a few months substitute teaching as well as providing volunteer tutor services in my spare time. I have always enjoyed the education field and feel that I am impart my knowledge on those seeking tutoring services, due to my well-rounded background. Some additional pieces of information about me:

Teaching Style
I have high expectations of anyone that I work with, be it in a professional business or teaching setting. Simply put, I expect my students to come prepared and have a good attitude, work hard to help achieve their goals, and not be afraid to ask questions. The Junior League of Washington:Active and Sustainer member of the JLW where roles and responsibilities have included the following endeavors:
New Member Committee Member
- Served as an “Advisor” to three new members to help guide them through the organization’s new member experience (i.e., educating and training each new member about the mission, structure and opportunities within the League and to prepare them for active membership within the JLW
National Museum for Women in the Arts (NMWA) Committee Member
- Supported the museum by staffing the NWMA information desk and assisting with special programs
Esprit Committee Member
- Contributed to the development of ideas for organizing monthly social, educational, and cultural events for the JLW membership and their guests.
- Lead organizer for the annual spring tea
Done- In - A - Day Committee Member
- Served as a trained volunteer providing services to the community for (one day in duration) events and organizations such as the Capital Area Foodbank, Embassy of France, and the American Heart Association gala
Development and Training Committee Member
- Contributed to the oversight of development and training curriculum for the entire JLW along three different tracks: leadership, volunteer essentials, and community training
- Co-developer and leader for two League-wide trainings
Membership Communications Committee Chair
- Head of a 15 person committee responsible for handling all facets of communication for the 2,200 member JLW
- Oversaw the execution of all League-wide member communications, specifically serving as editor-in-chief of the development of the monthly newsletter, The Hotline, which was distributed to all members
- Founding member and thought leader of the web and technology committee which spearheaded the development and unveiling of the JLW’s current website and capabilities
Phi Mu Sorority:Vice President
- Responsibilities included developing the chapter’s programming to include social, philanthropic, fundraising, and formal business meetings and sisterhood activities

- Oversaw a 40 member chapter as well as all facets of the entire chapter’s operations (membership, programming, financial, and communications)
- Oversaw an aggressive and targeted membership drive which resulted in headcount growth of 30% over the course of one calendar year. Represented and accepted an award on behalf of the chapter at the 2005 Phi Mu Convention
