range of learning difficulties and the transition between home and school. Developed and presented workshops to

Supervised school activities for the blind children. Developed new ideas and programs to assist students in learning.
Assessed and improved special education curriculum. Held workshops and one-on-one interactions with students (ages 5 - 22)
to help them on life skills and work orientation.
Institute for the Blind; Director – Colombia. 1971 to 1973
Supervised general care of visually impaired people and their families. Provided social and Health Care for the blind.
Developed and improved classes in general education, mathematics, Braille, mobility/orientation and life skills. Instituted
different kinds of activities to develop skills and general knowledge such as singing, music and others. Provided training
and orientation to people who became blind due to eye diseases or accidents.
