ESL Tutoring, Houston, TX; Students were expatriate employees or dependents of employees of major petroleum companies in Houston. I worked for a major relocation company, whose clients were provided ESL tutoring while in residence in the USA. My students ranged from age 10 to age 45. Twelve years' corporate training in SAP and Lean Six Sigma throughout the US and in Europe. Taught 17 years in secondary and vocational schools, as well as in universities in thee states. These positions were in English and Business (Office Education). Freelance tutoring in test preparation--ACT, GED, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and ExCET (Texas teacher certification exam).

I am a group or individualized instruction teacher, having taught adult students in an open entry/open exit, individualized instructional program, secondary students in traditional classroom settings, and one-on-one tutoring in ESL and test preparation. In many of these teaching/training roles, I have developed my own curriculum to meet the individual student's needs. I use memorization, appropriate educational games, traditional textbook/workbooks, and technology. The individual student's learning style and needs determine the methods I use to teach.
