Experience Summary
Hello, I've recently graduated undergrad at the University of Michigan. I took the PCAT this past October and scored 97th percentile, with 99th percentile in quantitative, biology, and chemistry sections. Since then, I've helped tutor a friend who scored below the 70th percentile on her first try, but after my help, scored above the 90th percentile. I've had experience tutoring students in the past through 1) volunteering at the Elmhurst Hospital through the after-school program that cooperates with local schools 2) volunteering at the district library in Ann Arbor to help junior high school and high school students and 3) study group leader at the University of Michigan for biology courses and chemistry. I believe the best way for a student to learn is through his/her peers and as a recent grad and student who has taken the PCAT recently, I know what it's like to go through this process and score well on the PCAT!
Teaching Style
I've compiled the best study material/notes/shortcuts to tackle the PCAT and do well. I've taken the PCAT and translated it into simpler terms that I believe will make the PCAT feel straight-forward. I will provide practice material as well as study guides. I can walk you through any section you may have difficulty with and then show you the most efficient way to tackle each problem.
