Experience Summary
I am a caring, patient tutor with 21 years of experience. My experience includes teaching general and special education classes, PK-12 the grade. I have also trained and mentored new teachers as well as presented staff development on best practices for reading, math, and science at the elementary levels.
Teaching Style
I use a multi- sensory approach to teach. This means that I might use a song, story, learning game,the computer, or hands on manipulative a to reinforce the skill. Information is retained when it is presented in multiple ways; I.e., see, hear, say, and do.
My Hobbies
I love to read and I love theater;I.e., plays, opera, musicals etc.
