I know things happen that we can't always avoid or control. You have 24 hours to cancel or reschedule an appointment. The follow-up appointment must be set for a date within 7 days of your missed appointment or you forfeit the fee for the missed appointment. Should I have to reschedule due to my own problems, we must find a mutually agreeable make-up date within 7 days of the missed appointment or I will promptly refund your money for the missed appointment. The amount of the refund will be proportional to the payment plan you have established. For example, if you paid for the 3 session per week plan and I missed one session, I will refund 1/3 of the total cost of your plan. If you signed up for the one month plan (12 sessions) and I miss one session, I will refund 1/12 of the amount you paid for the plan.

Experience Summary

I tutor most of the standardized exams such as ASVAB, ACT Math, Science and English, SAT reading, Math and Science, PSAT, MTTC Math, Middle and high school math (geometry, trig, algebra, pre-calculcus. I have experience as a community college instructor and private tutor for elementary through high school in the areas of mathematics and science. Additionally, I have taught in both public and charter schools in the metropolitan Detroit area. I am a Certified Master Tutor and Academic Coach. I am credentialed in six subject areas on the community college level.

Teaching Style

I am very patient. I am a good listener. I like to give help only in the areas were you need it. I will not waste your time. I like to show you different ways to solve a problem. I adjust to your learning style.
