Experience Summary
8 years teaching remedial math (addition, subtraction up to Algebra and Geometry)
Certified School Counselor. I currently and with Columbus Technical College where I teach math classes as needed and work with students transitioning to college. I have a high success rate, with 80% of my students progressing a year or more withing a 3 month time period.
Teaching Style
One-on-one or small group. I find that working one on one is the best format for students. This eliminates fear of learning or embarrassment from other classmates.

I am available to meet in homes, but I would prefer a setting in the local library. Depending on the age of the student, I adjust tutoring times to allow for appropriate attention spans.
